About the Event
As the desire for bilingual stories continues to grow, learn about what to consider when crafting stories in more than one language, and how to advocate for your books to be considered for translation. Alex Robertson is the senior editor of Ediciones NorteSur, the Spanish language imprint of NorthSouth Books, where she acquires and edits original picture books and books in translation. Prior to joining NSB, Alex was an editor with Candlewick Press where she worked on a range of titles, from board books and picture books to middle grade and YA novels. Alex holds a BA in English and Spanish from Northwestern University. Based in the Chicago suburbs, she enjoys book clubs, running, and attending concerts.
