1. Eligibility & Use

 

Our programs are intended and only suitable for individuals aged eighteen (18) and above. Some of the content in this Program may not be appropriate for children. At Home Author hereby disclaims all liability for use by individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

 

When you purchase a Program, you are granted a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the content. You may not share your login credentials or distribute materials to third parties.

2. Payment & Billing

• Fees: You agree to the fees and payment schedule selected at checkout. All payments are in USD only.

• Payment Plans: You understand and agree that for any payment plans, you will be charged on the same day each month until the payment plan is complete. By enrolling in a payment plan, you are committing to the full payment term unless you qualify for a refund as outlined in Section 3.

• Memberships: Enrollment in a membership program means your plan will renew automatically on the same day each month until you, the author, cancel the membership. At Home Author will not cancel memberships unless the request is explicitly stated in writing.

• Late Payments: If payment is not received by the date due, you will have a seven (7) day grace period. After this, we reserve the right to terminate your access to the Program and all content immediately and permanently.

 

If paying by debit card or credit card, you give us permission to automatically charge your credit or debit card for all fees and charges due and payable to At Home Author, without any additional authorization, for which you will receive an electronic receipt. You also agree that the Company is authorized to share any payment information and instructions required to complete the payment transactions with its third-party payment service providers (e.g., credit card transaction processing, merchant settlement, and related services).

3. Refunds

Non-Refundable: By using and/or purchasing our coaching and membership program(s), you understand and agree that all sales are final, and no refunds will be provided. To provide full transparency, our refund eligibility is broken down by category below:

• Individual & Group Coaching (NON-REFUNDABLE): * This includes all 1:1 coaching sessions, group coaching programs, and intensive workshops.

  • Payment Plan Commitment: By enrolling, you are committing to the full cost of the program. All payment plans must be paid in full regardless of your participation level or decision to "drop out" before the program ends.

• Memberships (NON-REFUNDABLE): * This includes the Profitable Picture Books membership and any other recurring subscription services.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time to prevent future billing, but no refunds or pro-rated credits will be issued for past payments or the current billing cycle.

• One-Time Courses, Merch, & Digital Downloads (7-Day Guarantee): * A 7-day money-back guarantee applies ONLY to standalone digital products (e.g., Write Your PB Workbook), physical merchandise, and one-time purchase courses (e.g., Marketing Course).

  • Full completion of a self-paced course disqualifies you from a refund. If you have accessed/downloaded more than 25% of the course material, a refund will not be granted.

  • To Claim: You must email contact@athomeauthor.com within seven (7) calendar days of purchase

Legacy Policy: The 30-Day Guarantee for the Profitable Picture Books Program expired on August 9th, 2023, when the program shifted to a membership model. All current versions are strictly non-refundable.​

After determining that you are entitled to a refund according to the policies outlined above, the At Home Author will issue an instruction to its payment processor to issue the refund. The Company does not control its payment processor and will not be able to expedite any refunds.

4. Termination & Content Destructions
If you receive a refund, that will immediately terminate any and all licenses granted to you to use the material and content. You shall immediately cease using the material and content and will destroy all copies of the information provided to you, including without limitation: video recordings, audio recordings, template documents, PDFs, slide shows, membership areas, social media groups limited to paying participants, and other provided resources.

5. Intellectual Property
All content—including videos, worksheets, and templates—is the proprietary property of At Home Author. Your purchase grants you a single-user license. You may not record, screenshot, or redistribute materials, nor may you use our proprietary frameworks to teach your own clients or students.

6. Limitation of Liability & No Guarantees

• No Results Guaranteed: At Home Author provides educational tools. We do not guarantee specific book sales, publishing contracts, or financial gains. Your success is dependent on your own work and market factors.

• Liability: At Home Author’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of your purchase shall not exceed the total amount you paid to At Home Author.

 

7. Community Rules

At Home Author reserves the right to remove any participant from community forums (Facebook groups, etc.) without a refund if they engage in behavior deemed harassing, abusive, or disruptive.
